The profiles of several of my forum members are now showing them as being "new members" even though they have been assigned to groups and been members for years. Their posts also show them as "new members".
I have tried removing them all groups and reassigning them but that didn't work.
Any ideas?

Hi Are you able to provide a link to the forum in question, and cite the members. Also, one thing to check is the group they have selected in their profile. So on their edit profile > settings, there is a Display Group option, which they may have selected 'None' for, which would mean despite being in a group, it would be their rank that displays in their profile.

If you can access it and click on the members tab at the top you will be able to see everyone who is now listed as new members.
This has never been an issue before today.

Outlaw23V, the 'New Member' you are seeing is the member rank, not a group. Since you only have one rank defined members will show the New Member rank in their profile regardless of the post count or length of membership. For those that are a member of a group, the group name should display in place of the rank in their profile. If this is not the case then most likely the member has their Display Group set to "none" in their profile (Profile > Edit Profile > Settings tab, Display Group). You can make the group display instead of the rank by either asking the member to adjust their Display Group setting, OR you can remove that member from the group and then re-add them back to the group. This action should force the newly assigned group to display in their profile.
