Forum URL: awakeningforums.comHope this is the correct board to post in. Hello and hi, recently have been having spam problems and have been working on solutions to fix it (without removing guest posting) and someone pointed me to the post quarantine plugin.
This seemed to fix the problem (albeit for desktop, though most spammers seem to post from desktop so this seems to work well) but today I checked my forum and saw spam posts and they didn't get quarentined. I am on desktop and was logged off and it was still visible to others, even when I logged in the quarentine stuff wasn't there.
Did I set something up improperly? I thought it was working but now it seems it's not. Not really sure how to turn it back on/re-enable it (it's showing it as active so not sure what the problem is)
any help is highly appreciated thank you!

Hi,
Plugins don't work on mobile so the posts won't appear to be "quarantined" by the plugin on mobile. I'm not 100% on how the plugin works but this is most likely what you're experiencing.

Thanks for the responses!
I went ahead and left a message in the linked thread but it appears dead. It seems another person was having the same problem.
It doesn't have to do with mobile (though, plugins don't work on mobile like you said so this is exempt for mobile users) it just seems it's not quarantining the guest posts as it should.
I have messed with and tinkered around with it but still having the same problem. Though it is working for members with 0-1 posts which is good.
I appreciate the help, maybe I will be able to figure it out eventually. Thank you all

Check your settings on the Quarantine Rules tab. "If you want to affect guests in a board: leave members array blank, and set post count to 0." These are my settings:

Thank you! I think it is working now. I will wait for a spam reply/topic to test and see.
I appreciate the time and help from all of you, much thanks!
