Forum URL: wristsushi.proboards.comI know how to put the Shoutbox at the top or bottom, but can I place it somewhere inbetween? In a perfect world, I might like it just about the Info & Statistics board that is just above it now. Tim

groundhog66, you do have some freedom with the shoutbox. Though some things to keep in mind. Currently the shoutbox variable is in the Forum Wrapper template so that it displays on all pages. The Forum Information area is in the Home template. So it's not just a simple matter of moving the variable, unless of course you only want the shoutbox on the home page. If you still want it on all pages, then you would need a script to move it above the Forum Info area.

groundhog66 , you can make a request for the script in the Coding Help board. 1. Go to Admin > Structure > Layout Templates, Home template 2. Paste this code between lines 24 and 25 <div id="move-shoutbox"></div> It should look then like this: {/if} <div id="move-shoutbox"></div> {if $[show_stats]} 3. Save changes 4. Then go to Admin > Structure > Headers & Footers 5. Click on Main Header & Footer and in the Header paste this: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $('#move-shoutbox').append($('div.shoutbox.container.full')); }); </script> 6. Save Changes That should do it for you.
