ukhippies.boards.net/forumI had a founder member delete their account. After some offline discussion, they rejoined and used the same screen name. Now, there's old posts and threads with 'deleted member' and new ones of the same name with the 'New Member' rank. Did I read on here that the new account can have their post count adjusted? If so, how do I do that please?

Go to your members profile, then edit profile and staff options.
Scroll down to post count, and manually adjust the figure.

Thanks. Is there any way of checking what the previous post count is? You can't search for the previous account. I would have to read every thread from the start of the forum manually to find the old posts.

I'm not sure if Scott will be able to get that for you. if you could let him know the username/id that the account had, he will let you know if he can get that information.

I would have to read every thread from the start of the forum manually to find the old posts. There may be other ways, but I think the Forum Cleanup tool would be a convenient way. From your Admin panel, navigate: Admin Home> Security> Forum Cleanup> Then tick the box for PostsClick the radio button to select By Specific MemberStart typing the deleted member's username in the field that says: Enter a usernameThen click on the name when it comes up on the list. When you click on Calculate Total, a new page will appear. You now have the total of all posts that still exist which are associated with the deleted member. And you need go no farther. There's no danger of accidental deletion. You must type delete and click a checkbox before the posts can be deleted.
