Is there a time limit / automatic forum deletion?
Years ago, I created a free forum on another site (PBBPS or something like that) and real life got in the way, and I didn't post or login to the dashboard for like 6 months.
When I finally did, I found that my forum was gone, due to inactivity, and all that typing I'd done was lost.
Does this forum have such limits?
I am a busy professional (librarian) and sometimes, things like that happen. I'd like to think that I could take a hiatus, and come back to it, and still find it there. On a modern server, the size of a private forum like mine would amount to a negligible amount of storage space required.
But until I get this question answered, I am hesitant to start posting again.
Thanks.

tellerianhawke , When the last time forum URLs were cleaned out an email was sent to every forum owner who had an inactive forum. Only forums with at least 5 years of complete and total inactivity were removed. If you have a forum you'd like to keep around keep an eye on your email...or just make a point of visiting the forum every couple of years.
