I have a program with menus to choose from, like shown below. It goes fine most of the time; I make a choice and return to menu, no problem. But when I choose to print out a hard-copy the choice remains in memory and next time I choose an action the print command revokes and I get a new hard-copy and not the choice I made.
I am using ; “print #draw, "print"; dump” to print hard-copy. I don’t know where I found this command and cannot see it in LB manual but it prints out the whole screen with the fonts and style I choose, something I cannot do with the Lprint command.
The problem seems to be that I need to clear out some variables after the printing, but first I have to find them. I tried “val=0” but no luck there, also I stepped right to the beginning of the program, as I expected all would be “sanitized or purged” when starting again, but no way. Any ideas out there?
if val=1 then goto [menu21]
if val=2 then goto [menu22]
if val=3 then goto [menu23]
button #draw, "Calculate a recipe ", [menu21], UL, 350, 200, 350, 30
button #draw, "Give name and number ", [menu22], UL, 350, 250, 350, 30
button #draw, "Print out present recipe ", [menu23], UL, 350, 300, 350, 30 ... print #draw, "\";Dan$(m,3)
print #draw, "\";Dan$(m,3)
print #draw, "\";Dan$(m,3)
print #draw, "\";Dan$(m,3)
print #draw, "print" dump close #draw
goto [xxx
