Hi Admin ---
I successfully finished all setups for AdSense (including AdFree and domain registration to ProBoards) for my forum. I also added my new custom domain to my AdSense account for the review.
One question. Where do I need to insert a AdSense Code?
In a global header box? (and/or a footer box?)
or
Between <head></head> found in Admin > Themes >Layout Template >Forum Wrapper ?

Hi quest4supportIf you add it to the Forum Wrapper you would have to add it to every theme you have, so to make things a lot easier for you, I would add it to the first line of the Global Header, then you only need to add the one copy of the code.

I added my custom domain to AdSense and it seems AdSense is reviewing my forum now.
This morning I got this message from AdSense:
"...We found your ad code on one or more sites that aren't on your Sites list. To avoid lost revenue, make sure you add all your sites to this list....
boards.net : Is this your site? We've detected your ad code on the site below. If it's your site, click Yes to add it to your Sites... "
My forum's original url is xxx.boards.net. Do I need to add my original forum address to AdSense in addition to my custom domain address? I think AdSense only considers my custom domain. Am I correct?

Here are some historical posts regarding the subject as well as some AdSense-specific reference material, hopefully it clears it up for you in case you missed a step }else{ please await a member of the Support Admin team
if you are using Google AdSense, generally they require an ads.txt file to be added to the forum. This can be done by going to Admin > Marketing > Authorized Digital Sellers. only the main admin had access to ads.txt area of the admin panel. You must have a custom domain if you want to run Google Adsense. Google only allows one adsense code per a domain and since we already have our own running on our domain you'll need your own so that Google can differentiate between us. Hi If your forum is adfree, you should see a section under the Marketing tab in your forum's administration area where you edit the ads.txt file and paste that code in. If you run in to any problems, let us know I would recommend reviewing the instructions provided by Google when you set up your Adsense account. As I understand they provide code you use to place on the forum for the ads to be displayed. The code should be able to be used in a header/footer or layout template, based on where you would like the ad(s) to be displayed.

My forum's original url is xxx.boards.net. Do I need to add my original forum address to AdSense in addition to my custom domain address? I think AdSense only considers my custom domain. Am I correct? FYi - Chris 's post provides all the answers you need to get your AdSense setup correctly - and just to clarify this one point, the included quote by Michael answers this question. You do not add your original url xxx.boards.net, "as we already have our own {AdSense} running on our domain..."

Thanks! yes, I have read all AdSense documents. When I say "AdSense code" is a code for "website identification" by AdSense. e.g. <script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?xxxxxx" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>Let's go back to my original question. Where is the right place for this code? "> Structure > Headers & Footers > Global Header & Footer > Header (text box)" is the right place to insert AdSense Code? (as Nscalerr explained above) OR Between <head></head> found in Admin > Themes >Layout Template >Forum Wrapper is the right place? OR in the ads.txt? developers.google.com/adsense/platforms/transparent/ads-txtCould you make this clear and confirm it? I did not hear anything from AdSense yet. Thanks!

quest4support - Put that between the <head></head> tags of the forum wrapper layout template.
