Hello there, a while back I created a forum called Magic Metal Island RP for all sorts of roleplaying. I went to login but it says that my forum was hidden due to some kind of violation. I think my forum might have been hacked. This is the link: magicmetalislandrp.proboards.com/Is there a way to recover it? Thank you for the help.

I think my forum might have been hacked. This is the link: magicmetalislandrp.proboards.com/Is there a way to recover it? Thank you for the help. TOS violations aren't handled here on Support; please send an email to abuseteam@proboards.com to inquire. If you had not visited the forum in a while, it's possible that the forum had been sent a TOS warning that you missed. The warnings generally ask for a response within 48 hours or so (either to reach out to the abuse team or to remove any of the called out content), so if you were inactive and didn't see the notice, the forum would have been removed as a next step. In cases like these PB is generally willing to work with you. However, if the purpose of the forum was inherently against the ProBoards Terms of Service, you probably won't get it back. If it's an RP forum, the first situation is the most likely, unless the entire purpose of the forum was for NSFW roleplaying in which case the latter would apply. Please note, reaching out to the abuse team has a window of 24-48 business hours to receive acknowledgment they received your correspondence. Depending on the nature of the violation, they may or may not be able to divulge a lot of details. Hope that helps, and best of luck! Edit: alas! my long windedness has struck again.

Thank you for the information. I do hope the forum wasn't removed as I spent a lot of time creating it. I did send an email to the one that was provided, I appreciate the information. NSFW wasn't allowed on my forum. I think what happened was it got hacked or spammed with NSFW content and I didn't see the notification for that for some reason. I hope the forum can be recovered as I was not involved in the spamming/ hacking. It happened and I wasn't even aware until I tried to login to my forum and it was hidden/ not showing. Thank you for the information and I hope this is something that can get resolved.
