What is the difference in the 3 boards available here?

Those options allows for the service to provide more options at hosting new forums, without having to end up creating a mess with urls that do not make sense, and is harder to remember off-hand. Essentially if one url name is taken on proboards.com, it can be used on freeforums.net or boards.net.

And to be clear, in addition to why they have been added as options, there is no functional difference — all 3 domains belong to PB and all of them run PB software.
