UPDATE -- 6:14am
All servers are now back online. If you are on server 98 - 107 and have any missing posts please read the below updates.
UPDATE - 4:50am
The only server that we are waiting to finish is 102 at this point. It looks like a few boards which did not have the 4.5 upgrades may have lost a few posts. We will be looking into ways to possibly restore any posts which are gone.
As Martyn and I have meetings all of today and Thursday (and did not sleep all night so we could get servers up), we will attempt to address the issue Thursday night after flying back from our business meetings in Texas.
UPDATE - 3:43am
We now have three servers back online and doing well. The rest are not too far behind, and Martyn and I will keep pushing through the night to get every server back online and where it should be.
UPDATE - 2:24am PST
We now have some servers coming back online. Please note that while your board may be working fine, we may not be done running tests on that server. As such, your board may go offline again for a short period of time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
UPDATE - 11:22pm PST
We have a firm grip on exactly what the issues are at this time for all forums that are affected by these issues. We are working all night to get this handled. While I can't honestly give a time estimate (it depends on how quickly servers transfer data / run updates), but I hope to have all boards up by morning, but realistically I can't see it going past the early afternoon.
All servers that were severely affected by this outage will receive ad-free for the rest of the month of February once we get things back online. If you have already purchased any ad-free for this month, we will deposit 7 credits on your account at your request. This will be handled after all servers are working as intended, so please don't post asking for credits too early
UPDATE - 9pm PST
We are currently pushing through a fix on all boards that are having issues. At this time we believe that there is no data lost on any forums.
This thread is for a specific issue. If you are getting the "Too Many Connections" error or getting redirected to the ProBoards homepage, do not post in this thread.
If your board is on server 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 104, 105, 106, or 107 and is having problems loading pages (e.g. they don't load, you get "Internal Server Errors," errors about the database connection, or your board is missing data, then please please read the following:
We are currently running a repair script which we hope will fix all affected forums. This script will take a few hours to run. However, we can not guarantee this script will fix every forum that is having issues today automatically. If your board is having issues I ask that you:
1) Reply to this thread simply stating your board URL -- NO other details are needed.
2) If your board begins to work after a few hours please delete your post from this thread so that we do not waste time attempting to fix boards that are updated by our automated system.
Unfortunately in 25 minutes both myself and Martyn are leaving for the airport to fly out to Texas for a scheduled meeting. We hope that this patch (which may take up to a few hours to complete) will fix all problems. If it does not, the moment we get off the plane in Texas we will be immediately getting online to work on any boards that are listed in this thread.
