I have been getting this problem fairly consistently when I start or reply to a new thread at agfansboard.proboards56.com/The most recent issue occurred when trying to reply to agfansboard.proboards56.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=202921) Your version of Internet Explorer - Firefox 3.0.3 2) Your operating system - Mac OS 10.4.11 (Tiger) 3) The exact pages that you go to and links that you click on which results in you being redirected back to the home page (please post the URLs) agfansboard.proboards56.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=20292 WHEN REPLYING 4) Ping (from a Mac): 5) Is there anything in particular you notice? How far along does the page load before it redirects you back to the home page? Any other details? - Again, the issue over here is only at "Post Reply" or "Post New Thread." The redirect seems almost instantaneous. The really odd thing is that I seem to almost always get the redirect when replying or posting a new thread, but sometimes, my post will go through anyway, despite being redirected.

1) Firefox 3.0.3 2) Windows XP Home SP3 3) kofh.probroads.com 4) Pinging kofh.proboards.com [67.15.247.157] with 32 bytes of data 5) Page doesn't load it immediately redirects to Proboards home page. I also tried on a different computer 1) IE 6.0.2008.1106CO 2) Windows 2000 Professional 3) kofh.probroads.com 4) Pinging kofh.proboards.com [69.93.2.53] with 32 bytes of data 5) Page doesn't load it immediately redirects to Proboards home page. * I'd like to mention I created the site months ago but didn't use it, and currently trying to get to it so I *can* use it - so I'm not sure the reason I can't get to it is because of the current issues or that my board is perhaps set to inactive and I need to do something else? * Thank you!

Same problem here, being flooded with emails of members who can not get on the sites. It's killing traffic. I have 2 home computers, one with XP with IE6 & FF and the other with Vista with IE7 & FF. It only appears to be a problem with IE6 but only on certain sites. We had about 70 posts yesterday then the problem occured about 3pm. We have had only a handful of posts since then. At this point I am mass emailing all members to either upgrade to IE7 or download Fire Fox. However, we have alot of members that get online at work and their work computers still have IE6 so, it's really hurting our traffic and they can't update or download on work puters. Today, the ProBoards support fourm here locked on me with IE6 but was working yesterday. Can you say "Ghosts in the Machine" Spooky. Happy Halloween

Hi, my name is Katie. I am the admin for makeitcount.proboards80.com/ I have not personally experienced this error, but many of the members on my board are continuing to experience it.

My contribution: On the idea that reestablishing a connection would cause the ad selection to recycle/refresh and that only certain ads aid/abet in the issue I went Ad-Free and the problem went away without the users doing anything. . . . PWDRacing.proboards91.com

Yeah, our "problem" - flashing back to the HomePage came back, just like it does for me trying to get on here...... one18th.proboards106.com/ ....We're still having the problem, or it came back... hopefully that can make it stop. only thing that WORKS, for me anyways, is to tell people to follow these steps: Logout > click on Login icon > leaving the signin info BLANK, very QUICKLY click the Login button> screeen should stabilize > you will get an ERROR message, asking you to Login again > now Login using your ID and Password ... ...you should be good.

I'm having the same problem as well. Though, some members say they can view pages, while others cannot.
I use Internet explorer 7, and have Windows XP home.
