Redirecting To Home Issue (Updated - READ!)

I have Internet Explorer 7 and Vista.

I started having the problem on 3 sites yesterday including proboards support. I fixed 2 by removing the link from my favorites but have not fixed the 3rd site. I do have 2 other sites that I visit that I have no problems with.

Site I still have not fixed. still4us.proboards.com I can log on but every time I try to open a thread or a profile, I am redirected back to the home page.

I had another member of the board use my computer to sign on and had the same issue of being redirected back to the home page. I also checked the site out on another computer in the house, same IP, and it works fine.

I just did the unbookmark, rebookmark thing. It worked. Thank god.

Same here! My board is very inactive now but one person so far has complained the problem at www.cherspalace.proboards104.com. Here's what he said about this:
"It's weird, maybe yesterday it started.

When I'm on the site using Internet Explorer (version 7.0) the main page displays just fine, but when I click on a link to any post or particular topic, it starts to display correctly and then suddenly jumps back to the main page


Right now I'm using FireFox (version 1.0.7) and it seems to be working ok.

Did something change with the BBS over the last couple of days? "

Any updates or any idea how much longer we should have this problem?

on my board messenger7.proboards84.com some members have been having trouble logging in, and posting, and being redirected to the home page.

I deleted it and it worked as well. I don't understand what that was doing. Can someone explain it?

This was posted several times today and works. Give it a try.

ProBoard forums are having a lot of problems with this and offered a solution that has helped many.

Try deleting the forum from your favorites list, retype the URL in the address bar & bookmark it again.

Nothing at all it helping me out same problems page does not fully load, keeps directing to home page..when I click onto members online today says javascript is void for that function...same with trying to check IP of users online ...hope the DDOS attack will be corrected for EVERYONE and it is appreciated.

I have one member who is having this problem. She said it is only on my proboard board. She belongs to three of them and the other two aren't giving her any problems. She tried all of the suggestions listed and still being directed back to the home page.
