That looks like a spam ad in a different language. As long as you've banned his IP you're okay.

Hey guys. I just posted this on another board and was told by some perfectionist legalist to start my own thread. I do believe I could find the information I'm looking for by reading through stuff, but what I want to know is why should I spend more than an hour(that's how long it's been and I still haven't found the answers) when I could ask someone a few really simple questions. I'm a newbie. I started my board a few days ago and I'm afraid that I'm much more clueless about what I'm doing than I thought I would be. Computers isn't my area of expertise (I'm barely literate concerning computers). I suppose a "Complete Idiots Guide" to Pro Boards might be what I need. I looked through the FAQs and I couldn't find the simple, basic, information I needed. Probably because I was looking in the wrong places. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, and I probably am, but shouldn't the address to the website be the least difficult thing to find out? The only way I know to get to it is: edifire.proboards91.com/index.cgiEdifire is my username. The name of the forum is Desert River. Foolishly, I went ahead and sent that link out to my e-mail contacts. 4 people have signed up so far, but I set up things to where nobody could participate without my approval. So I got an e-mail from one of them that said this: "I haven't been approved yet! Here is the message I got: Currently your account is waiting for approval from a staff member. Once an administrator has approved your account you will get access to this forum." So I went to the Admin section and approved all the members. But then they sent another message: "I also got a message that I needed to activate my account, and I did so. At the bottom of that e-mail were these words (which confused me): ---- You have received this email because you are a registered member of the forum at edifire.proboards91.com/index.cgi Your account username at this forum is "edifire" ----- Because that is not my username. It's yours, right?" This is now the only part that's bothering me. Can anyone tell me why it said that? Now I'm wondering if this is because I sent the wrong link. Perhaps I'm an idiot, but I don't even know how to go about finding out what the address to my website is. I don't know anything about "Activation Emails" and I didn't see them mentioned in the FAQs. I suppose that either I need consider that my IQ isn't as high as I thought it was or either you guys might need to make things a bit more idiot proof.

Uh, yeah, I know that and then when I decided to do that I feared that as soon as I did, someone like you would start complaining that it was already explained somewhere. I'll figure everything out on my own from here on. I want be asking you guys any more questions. I understand if you're overburdened by people asking you the same question over and over but you're being a bit ridiculous, I don't mind saying. I'll check back here to see if someone more reasonable than you answers my question.
