Forum URL: siii.proboards39.comk, I've never had a problem with this before, nor have any of my friends (they still visit the site with no problems). my problem is that a pop up box pops up onto the screen saying "Click to run an ActiveX control on this webpage". my first thought was adware/spyware/whatever/virus thing, but that box works a lot like the PM alert feature, and only affects that window. also did numbers of virus scans, but no dice. obviously this problem is my computer's own fault, but I have no idea how. anyone experiencing this, or able to tell me how to fix this?

earlier it only popped up, I clicked "Ok", and everything was fine, so I didn't mind it. however, now I'm unable to view the site, because some error thing pops up and closes the site.

Are you running the latest version of the Browser you are using? Have you added something new and this just started happening?
Pixie, was the whole code there, or just what you posted? I didn't look

Active X is a movie/music player if i remember right. If you have music on your site, then it may be unable to play due to your pc not having the right program for it.
