Forum URL: theshowring.proboards88.comApologies if this has been covered but I have done several searches regarding Ad-Free but I keep getting errors come up. Am I correct in reading that anyone outside of the US cannot pay by credit card And if so please can I be so bold as to ask why? It's just to go to my bank every month, get a cheque done in dollars, send it air-mail and then hope it arrives in time before the ad-free runs out seems very time consuming when it could be done in 2 minutes online

If you try to sign up for ad free you will see this message on page two of the sign up
So the first part of your question is self explanitory and I am not sure why they do not let internationals use credit cards :S

tsr, I believe it is to do with address verification which can only be done within the US but am not certain on that matter. Might be worth waiting for Martyn/Craig to respond on that. However, it is not necessary to send Money orders every month. You could buy a batch of credits every few months and just apply them as you need them. Alternatively, if you have an trusted American member/staff member with a credit card, they could pay for the credits with their card and you could then pay them. Not sure if that's something you'd trust to another member though

Ross is correct. Martyn and i are looking into other ways for non-US people to purchase adfree, but at the moment, money order is the only way, sorry.

Thanks for the replies and I will keep my fingers crossed that you come up with a solution for us non US I will now check out the credits way properly and sort out a larger money order to save all the too-ing and fro-ing lol Unfortunately all our forum members are from the UK bar a couple of Aussies so I can't get around it using the US credit card suggestion
