backup of your headers and footers

I think I backed up my headers and footers awhile back. I was messing with them today and now some of my codes won't work. Is there a way to retrieve the old codes? Thanks!

the backup feature produces a text file with all the current codes in. unless you saved that file I don't think you can get them back
