Forum URL: otakukyokaifm.proboards102.comI am the Main Admin of the site and my friend is an Admin ("Im98YearOld"). Yesterday, he made his account using my computer. But he wasn't able to log in when he tried at his house. Well, that's because he was still logged on at my house, so I logged him out, then he tried logging in again, but this time it said "Welcome, Guest." Although, under "Users Online" it showed my name, his name, and a guest (which was him). So, I had to change his password, then I logged myself out, signed in as him and logged him out. He tried again, but the same thing happened. So, I changed the e-mail in his profile and sent an activation key to myself. I had no problem logging in as him. Then, I changed the e-mail to his and he received the activation code. He activated it, but still, when he logs in it says "Welcome, guest." I'm really confused and I don't understand why this is happening to him.

Tell him to clear his cookies. That should work.

Scroll down to the section called "problems logging in" and check those settings. support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=support&action=display&n=1&thread=30155

Well, he tried all that and the same thing happened.
When I try to log in as him, now, it says I need the activation key. He said that he got the activation key, but when he clicks the link it just brings him to the site and it says "Welcome guest". It doesn't say like enter activation code, or anything.

I think this is the last question.
I was originally telling him that I could delete his old account, he could make a new one, and I could move all his old profile data to his new account, but he's been hesitant about that.
Well, since nothing else has worked, would that be a possible solution? I mean, would proboards allow him to do that? Could he still post under the same "name" as his old account; and when I delete his old account, will all his old posts remain?
Thanks for your help. ^_^

If you delete his account and he registers with the same username he registered with, he'll be linked to his posts again.

Well, he tried logging in "Forever" and it actually worked! Though, I assume he has to do that everytime, right?
