Today I'm having great difficulty accessing my own forum. If I go to post or to PM it shuts itself down and does a 'send error report' then recovers the tab but does it again. Is this down to the problem ads or is anyone else experiencing the same?
It only appears to be happening when I go on to my forum no other sites which makes me think something an ad/script/code is causing it. I've been unable to put a post up to see if any other members are experiencing the same thing.
I've had a look and can't see anything on the status/servers problems other than the message about advert problems.

Hi Has this coincided with a change and/or addition of a code at all?

No. no recent additions. I've just tried it on a laptop and it worked fine, which suggests it must be my PC, odd though as only my forum is having difficulty - no other sites? Puzzling.
Cheers anyway.

Could you temporarily remove all the codes in your global header / footer, however, and see if you still have the issue.

Mine seems okay now, I did a system restore and got rid of the latest update, it definitely seemed to coincide with that.

I had to do a system restore a day before the windows update to access my board properly.
this morning the update has been allowed to happen again and voila, same problems. And again it's only my board, I can access this board and any other site but my own, shuts its self down.
So it definitely appears to be related to this windows update.
So does anyone know how you can remove/reverse a windows update and stop it from requesting again other than a system restore or is that the only way?

Hi, If you go the microsoft windows update page - there are settings which allows you to handle how the updates are installed. Also if you go start/control panel/ add remove programes on your PC And put a tick 'To Show Updates' it will list all the updates that have been installed on your PC And it will list them all by date! - Which may help you in finding the update that is causing the problem.
