Bad Ads

The "Sex Arcade Games" ad is inappropriate and I would like to know why I have that on my forum. There is no mention of sex in my forum and I can't see why it would be there. I don't mind having ads, but please, tell me why do I have inappropriate ads on my forum!!

I was just in your board provided with the link you gave above.. and I refreshed my browser, and the sex Arcade ad that you speak of is now gone.. Im gussing this.. and could be wrong, but i dont think they are anything to worry about.. they are probably just ads by google.

if you see that ad again, right click and select properties, click the url 3times (usually) to highlight, then copy/paste to here.

all those ads are provided by Google and are triggered by keywords in your forum....there must have been some word in your forum that triggered that particular ad....it all depends on what the person with that ad provided to google as keywords that would activate their ad.

I suggest you complain to google about it.

I doubt you need to worry about the TOS since the ads are put there by Proboards XD.

If the url of an offensive ad is posted here, then Pat (or admins) can see that it is filtered out if it's too bad.

contacting google will only mean you're sent back here.

I agree, that is very inappropriate. esspecially since I'm planning on having rules against sexual comments on my board (when it opens) is there anything we should try to avoid so we dont have any problems with this?

If you click on "ads by google" you can fill out a form to complain about the ad. I don't believe google allows sexual content in their ad words system.
