Server connection.

I am currently on server 49. and for the last week or so, the connection has been severly slow. and constantly has to many people connecting to it, thus making my forum unusable. i love the fact that you guys are providing free forums for everyone. i would just prefer not to see *too many connections try agian in 30 seconds* constantly.

i used the search and came up with nothing, so i thought i might ask, can i be transfered to another server without having to restart and lose my work please? i would request 12 as nothing ever happens bad with 12. it never gets that connection problem. if this is impossible... then that kinda sucks. seeing as 49 has so many people connecting its not evan worth having a forum.

Can you give an idea of the timespans when you find it busy, staff may review the loading on that server if it is a regular problem

The problem is really really bad... good LORD, it is SO bad, i get it all day longish, and it happens off and on constantly, i cant go 10 minutes without it doing it.

Yes, server 49 does have serious problems. At this point of the day (6:30 pm EST) I'd say the "Too many Connections" messages occurs about every 3 or 4 click of a link.

I just started my board yesterday. It seems really bad from about 3 pm EST to at least 10 PM when I go to bed.

Just to add that Server49 is on sign ups so it may help if they were disabled on 49....

Glad i found this post cause this is the exact problem i was coming in to get addressed. I too have a site on server 49 ec34.proboards49.com/index.cgi? and i do seem to get the "Too Many Connections" error message in the evening. I live on the east coast in Pennsylvania so if someone checks it out make sure you make the adjustment for the different time zones. I hope this isnt a serious problem. I have other boards in here that run great but i can attest and agree with the others in here, 49 has been a dud so far.

Sadly I'm in the same boat, my board is on server 49 and lately ive been noticing a lot of too many connections errors :-(

I'm pretty new to ProBoards and I don't know if I should make a new thread regarding a similar issue, but I'm on server 50 and for the past week I've also had a lot of "too many connection" issues too.

Seems that 49 is better and 50 and 51 are the only 2 servers are sign ups and are now getting too many connections.

you guys have become really popular. my problem is solved now, but you guys should probably get another server going... yet again.
