Forum URL: absoluteskating.proboards37.comI have a separate category on my mb, for staff only. ("Mod" area - Moderator talk) This includes co-admin, global mods and local mods. But ever since the upgrade the local mods can't access the boards anymore. They do see it (regular members can't) but get the message "you don't have access" when they try to get in. Right after the upgrade I have been here, and we tried to solve it, which didn't work at that time, so I let it rest and created a password protected board instead. But my staff complains and wants the old board back. The category is not hidden and I checked all membergroups that should have access. The board inside is set on staff only, all people that should have access are named as mod, and posting restrictions are set to registred members (as I assumed my mods are ) The local mods are the only ones not getting in, but they do have their 'powers' on their assigned boards and are able to work with those as they are supposed to. There is nothing more I can think of to do. Can you help me out? Thanks!

It might be that due to the limited powers it is restricting them from the board.

on the setting for local mods, are you sure the option "group is staff?" is set to yes?

Try making them a moderator of the staff board.

Already did that. They are listed as such. But still no access...

In the members profile of whom you made MOD, you made their title MOD right? Like when you make an ADMIN or GMOD, you have to do that with the MODs also.
That was done, correct?

Did that change with the upgrade then? Cos before it worked fine.
Some have the actual title MOD, some a special one - member group - which is specifically set as moderators. Both groups don't have access now, and did before.
I did that the same way as I did the admins and global mods.

It seems to work now. Not all mods have been online yet, but some already get in. Thank you very much! Was it something I did wrong? If so, please tell me, so I can do it correctly next time I add a mod.
