forum name/banner

When I started my board, I put the banner link into the forum name part on general settings, which is probably wrong. Anyway it was pointed out that my forum has no name. When I have tried to put my banner link in the logo part of admin and type the name into the forum name part i end up with just the name and no banner.

I dont know what im doing wrong. Please help!

You need to go to admin>skins/forum colors>select skin>Logo url>enter url of logo.

Then admin>general settings and enter the board name

i did that but it doesnt work. I just get the board name in text and no banner

I went to your forum and I see the banner.

And to insert the board title, go to admin --> general settings and it is the first text field there.

Go to your profile and make sure board images are set to yes and see if that doesn't help. (Profile for your board not here)

I too went to your forum and see the banner. Try clearing out your cookies, temp files and rebooting your comp and see if it doesn't show for you then as I see it even in IE.

Looking at your source all you have for title is 'home'. Are you sure that you have your board name entered in 'board title' under 'general settings'?

right ive done everything you have all said, and it doesnt work! look at it now

When you saw my banner there thats cause the link was in the board name and not the logo part.

I really don't know what is going on then. i have tried entering the logo url in the board name on my test site and it just shows the url. I cannot replicate what you are experiencing. Looking again at your source it would seem that where your logo url should be you have 'Above the Clouds' typed in, which is what is showing.

All I can suggest is to let this drop for an admin to look at.

EDIT: Just a thought, when you are entering the url in the logo part you are not including img tags are you?

You do not need the image tag just the url itself. You can fix that by removing the [ /img]

I have done it, the banner works but the forum name on top of the catergories didnt change. I used the swithit code and its done the job. Thanks for your help!
