im admin 4 my forum and i dont know how to make other users moderators and manually adjust people's post counts

you have to edit the board you want them to monitor, when you edit the board, there should be a spot in there to change it

For mods'.

Go into the members profile you want to make a moderator and select modify profile. Now scroll down to your admin functions in there profile and change that members "member group" to moderator.

Now go into modify boards in your admin panel (select the board you want them to mod) and add that moderators USERNAME to the "moderators" field. (This will make that one member just a moderator of that one board, or add them to the boards you want them to moderate)

Make sure you edit the staff powers for the mod.

Admin--member groups--modify group--select moderator from drop down list. Click on continue and make sure "limit powers" is set to YES. click on continue and pick the powers you want them to have.
To adjust members post counts just go into there profile and scroll down to your admin functions in there profile and change there post count.
