Staff Members wont go away!

When I have staff members they show up when you click staff members... that's fine.

Now I took some people off staff because I need actual ACTIVE members as staff not people who show up once a month for 5 mins.... (because my forum gets over 100 posts per day now for months) and when I click staff members THERE NAME STILL SHOWS UP! Even though there titles show up as regular members in the staff section....

Why is this?

Make sure they're not still moderating any boards. Even if you've changed their member group to a nonstaff member group they will still appear in the staff list if they are set as a moderator of a board.
