Activation Codes

Alright having a problem with the activation for members of my boards. I created this for my schools ski club which i am one of the heads of. So in turn most of the members use the school email address for their registration (that is all most have). Upon registration the activation code is sent out but people that use the marshall.edu mail server are unable to recieve the email containing the activation code becasue it comes from an address with a name that is nobody@. Our school filters that out and told me there was nothing they could do and to check here to see if anyone had any suggestions. This board is very important as our members cannot always be at our meetings, thus this is a way to convey info to those that haven't been able to attend. But for now over half of our members are unable to access it because of this activation code problem. But I want them to have to log on so that i can control posts and make sure that i can contact people through their names. any help would be awesome.

the best way to solve this would be to sign up for a free email address

eg: Hotmail

and send the activation codes there or try entering [e-mail] to the safe filter on your marshall.edu mail servers.

the school server wont accept the nobody address...they said they have them all blocked through the main filter because it will allow too much spam in from other locations.....i have tried the free mail it is just hard to get ahold of everyone and get it all set up....just wasn't sure if anyone had run into this exact problem with a school email and knew of a way around it other than a free email...i have already suggested yahoo email addresses to most of our members it would just be easier for them and me if there was a way around it....but thanks for the quick reply...
