A:M/C- Sponsor Advertising

I have a sponsor that would like to place a banner on my board. He is affiliated with Budweiser and has a banner with the Budweiser bottle and name on it. Is this allowed on the boards? Thanks in advance!

This is a tough question considering that beer isn't illegal to those over 21.

But since ProBoards often have minors who are 13 years or older on, then it would be promoted Alcohol for them.

This is a TOS question that will have to be taken up with an ADMIN here.

If I were you, I'd add "A:M/C" to the beginning of your subject line.

Someone will have to fill me in on the US since im from the UK

Would you find beer ads during daytime tv in america? Or just at night?

If they are aired during the day, the ad would be fine, providing it linked to a site which has a front page asking you to verify your age (most beer comapnys do this these days)

I see a fair number of commercials advertising beer, and liqour during the daytime.

As long as you either have purchased ad-free or are not making money off of the ad it is fine. The alcohol subject matter is not really an issue I don't think, but if you are getting paid to place a banner ad on the page you must purchase ad-free.

so if a person had a board that had an add banner on it and had not paid for the add free it would not be allowed and be a volation of the TOS
