Extra Smileys

Hi I have a small question, about smilies.. I have a old code that i used back in pb3 where you put the extra smilies in a box up above the post area. and theres only a few that i have listed.. now my members are requesting even more smilies to use when posting, but i dont want to add anymore to the box above the post area.. (it will make it way to big) - so i was looking for a code that maybe will add more to say the left hand side of the post area in a drop down menu.. and i came by this code support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=codedatabase&action=display&n=1&thread=70256
and i was wondering if it would be okay to use that plus the other smiley code that i have on my forum..

It's in the database, so it should be fine.
