For me, i would make it 728 in width, and maybe 100-150 in height, so it goes right accross* Use the forum width modifier found in the code database to make your forum width 728 in width. |

That can be done by:
Admin Panel --> Skins/Forum Colors --> Modify Skin --> Pick Skin --> Put the url into the third or fourth area where you can put a "logo url".
The size can be pretty much any size you choose, usually it depends on what your forum width size is. I am using 750 x 200 on mine right now.

Then to make sure the Hey X you have X Messages thing doesn't get crammed in the side, you should remove it, and add a PM Bar, or use the move Hey X under Banner.
