rearrange replies WITHIN the threads?

I couldn't find this one anywhere or even if it existed. Is it possible to have the most recent post appear on the top WITHIN a thread instead of the bottom.

EX: #1
On a single page. The most recent reply is at the bottom.

EX:#2
On A three page reply thread will have the most recent reply on page 3 at the bottom.

Can I reconfig to show these at the top of the page?

I'm not talking about Topics which already appear on the top as new postings. Just inside the threads themselves

It's not possible to reorder the posts that way, no. To be specific, a ridiculously long and complicated code could be used to reverse the order of posts on a single page, but posts from page 2 could not be displayed on page 1 so it would only work for single-page threads.

In all fairness there are some other forum systems that have the option you're describing, but whever it is enabled the members usually complain about it because they don't know what's going on.
