It makes it so staff must accept registration before new members can post

hi can someone explain how the limited registration facility works ..please Let's say it's already enabled on your board. So after i register and do the activation i'll see a message saying something like "waiting approval from admin" something like that. The main admin would see a link under "manage members" in there admin panel to approve my account. Note you'll only see a link to approve members accounts where there is someone waiting for approval. Otherwise you'll see nothing.

hi can someone explain how the limited registration facility works ..please basically, it'll allow you to approve or deny accounts for use. If you enable it and a new member regsiters, you would see a "View Pending Members," link under Manage Members from within your admin panel. There, you would have the option to approve or deny their account.

I have disabled this option on my site, as I didn't know it was enabled, and I didn't wish to refuse membership to anyone...however, after I have approved of some members accounts, they still cannot post..they say...can you help at all?

I will ask them again...but up to now they just say that they're receiving the message that they have to wait for admin to activate their membership..I've left a message for them to try to post again since I've activated the accounts at the weekend, and for them to ensure that they are using their original username/password...I find that some of my members mistakenly make multiple accounts when their original password info doesn't log them into the site...I will let you know when they feedback to me again... Thanks for reading...
