I have really hosed my MB by adding the chat scrip

I added the script for the chat to my Main Footer and now it's all I see on my board page. I can't even log in.

Anyone have any ideas?

Get rid of that code once you get into admin panel.,

login with this link.
hammerheads.proboards40.com/index.cgi?action=login&NOHEADERS=1

Now throw this next URL into your address bar to get to headers and footers page.
hammerheads.proboards40.com/index.cgi?action=headersfooters&NOHEADERS=1

Double check and see if you copied the code correctly.

All I did was copy the code and paste it in the footer section. Do I need to modify it or should I creat e it's own thread and put it in that footer.

Yes it was. I did read that, DOH!!!! I thought that meant the main board not a created board. Sorry long day.

So if I create it's own board, like CHAT, and put it in that boards footer it should work.

Another question, if you don't mind, is when I had it in the main footer (DOH) when it did log into the Java chat I got a message that said this name was taken already. Will this happen if I create it's own board for it?

I don't think that will happen. Just do what the instructions say.

Create a board and name My Chatroom or something really clever. Disable posting for that board then add the code to that new board you just created. Anymore problems with the code PM the creator or post in coding suppport board.
