I am getting a complaint from one of my members that they get pop-up ads when they connect to the board. I personally have not experienced this nor have I heard this complaint from any of my other members. Does this board use pop-up ads?

I don't think there are popup ads in ProBoards, only google ads.

The popup ads might be because he/she clicked the links in one of the googles ads maybe? Make sure that this member doesn't have any other window open that could launch popups too.

It also sounds like your friend may have spyware on their computer. I looked at your site and there are no codes for pop ups that would come like with chat boxes and such. Have her check her computer for spyware.

I have two boards with proboards, different types of forums, and have never had an issue or recieved a complaint, comment, or concern about the services. I am obligated to check, but think that it is a specific end user issue.

I think that I have found out what is causing my end user issues. The Google Ad program has a .js that runs which is causing her spam detector to fire off and complain.
