Just a quick question - what happens when I ban an IP address at the user's end? Are they still able to read the forum, but not post (the forum in question is open to all), or do they get an error page or similar? Thanks  ! |

they just get an error message saying
"Sorry, you have been banned from this forum"
they cant access your board at all through that IP

even if the board allows no members to post
they cannot access your forum through that IP you have banned
