The easiest way is to ask the admin for all the color settings & codes that are used on their forum, then put them in yours.

the 'members area' and 'non members area' are categories, the general talk etc are boards.
admin > create category > etc admin > create board > etc
you can also modify either of the above.
select where you want the board to be, in which category.
when creating, add the information needed as you scroll through the options. Name and ID (one word) are needed, the description isn't if you don't want it.
