Hi i have made a new fourm for my band , and my mates band has one to and they sed i can use there layout , but i dnt have a clue how they do it can you help me please there link is

The easiest way is to ask the admin for all the color settings & codes that are used on their forum, then put them in yours.

i dnt mean the colour , i mean they way the first few borads are set out

the 'members area' and 'non members area' are categories,
the general talk etc are boards.

admin > create category > etc
admin > create board > etc

you can also modify either of the above.

select where you want the board to be, in which category.

when creating, add the information needed as you scroll through the options.
Name and ID (one word) are needed, the description isn't if you don't want it.
