I made about nine passworded boards, but unless I only allow administration, then regular users who might not have the passwords can get though by clicking on the most recent post section, and I dont want to get rid of the most recent posts, so...

No, they cannot access it, if they have not entered the pass. The posts will not show there.
You can see them however, as you have entered the password prior to checking the last posts.
The people who have not entered the password before, will not see the posts in there, aswell as will be unable to access the passworded boards.

Well one of my users who wasn't given the password got in and said it's because they can access it by clicking on last post.

I even went ahead and tested it on my test board and was unable to gain access by doing so.
So your member probably guessed the password.

How did he guess my password? It's a completely unrelated word... you would be surprised at the resourcefulness of members at guessing passwords....you should always make a password a random combination of letters and numbers....never a real word. |
