The Sky issue is still an issue though, I take it?? Just double checked with a colleague on BT and he cant access our forum. Neither can another guy on Sky (like myself).

Virgin seems to be OK and most of our NA members aren't affected at all.

Really fed up with this whole SKY carry on.

Can someone tell me, if I go and buy a vodaphone dongle this afternoon, will I be able to access proboards sites with it, until the SKY issues are resolved. Don't want to waste money on something that isn't going to work though.

Yes, that is still an issue.

All the others who were unable to access for a bit of time there was as a result of a new attack, not as a result of the other problem.

Thanks Martyn. I guess it's a case of grin and bear it for a time. I'm fine working thru the proxy in the short term but there's a lot of functions I can't utilise. If Sky or whoever is doing this doesn't stop it I'll have to consider creating the forum elsewhere. Changing ISP's isn't an option for me atm.

haven't noticed any functions that I cannot operate using hotspot shield, although I think it might be a bit slower for obvious reasons, but not slower than hidemyass of anonymouse, I have ad block on as well so not getting any adverts either.

I do have a dongle with 3 mobile, but that is just for emergencies/travel as dongles are so slow

Hi, have tried to connect to forum using two computers in my house & two different browsers, ie8 & fire fox. no joy with either.

Next i tried connecting with my iphone, using wireless to my router it would not connect, however after switching off wifi & using 3G signal connected instantly. So can confirm isue seems to be with Sky...

Our tech person is away so hope this is posted in the right place.

Some members are getting a message at log in that they are banned. As main admin I can log in from home, from work through BT I'm banned.

Just called Sky Technical helpdesk - they were as much use as normal. After speaking to 3 different people finally got someone that spoke good English and didn't treat you like an idiot. They have taken all my details and will look into the problem and call me back - I'm not holding my breath.
