I am going to hold my vote back for just a moment.

Does anyone else find it strange that Phaelyn wasn't killed the first round? Bagheera was killed because she hosted a game, Ryan was killed first because he hosted a game... Phaelyn hosted the game last round and wasn't killed. I'm not saying it's totally mafia like, but it's still a little strange.

Also, did Phaelyn provide a quoted PM from Patrick claiming to be the detective? If not, I'd love to see it. If so, can someone link to it? I might have missed it.

Also, for those wondering why Pat would even bother to fake being the detective -- I have a few people that I usually contact at the beginning of the game, depending on how they've acted. I assume he was fishing for any roles I'd figured out.

So much for your word, Phaelyn. I guess that's what you have to do when the evidence is stacked against you.

Since Phaelyn has decided to violate her word, I feel I just need to say that the PMs Phaelyn is posting are clearly fakes. I never sent those PMs. I ask that you all look at the hard evidence I have posted in the last few pages which is much stronger than Phaelyn's allegations of me being mafia.

The fact that both have accused one another makes me feel a bit more confident that at least one of the two is mafia. If Phaelyn was lying about Pat's PM to her, he wouldn't have accused her of sending him a PM with the same contents -- at least one of them received a detective PM from the other. If she was telling the truth, then he's guilty.

I'm more inclined to keep my vote on Patrick for a couple reasons. First, his posts have seemed more defensive, and I don't really buy his evidence. Second, we only have 24 hours to reach a majority in this game, and Pat simply has more votes right now.

I just have to reply to this (the second sentence) because it annoys me as a person who studies statistics a lot. The probability of Pat (or any player) being chosen as mafia is independent of all the other games. The fact that Pat hasn't been mafia previously doesn't make it any more likely that he's mafia in this game.
