Anyway, I agree with Phaelyn. Just because Trill asked that doesn't make him mafia just because the two first rounds were played that way. The last two rounds were played where all roles received a PM, and since Aether had made no mention of whether or not he was going to send everyone a PM, it was a pretty valid question. Nobody started sleeping until Aether clarified that all roles had been PMed. Except Jetta, who mentioned that she was waiting for role clarification as well.

I may vote Trill, but will hold off for now.

Yeah, and last time I ended up getting the detective killed by getting a train of people to kill Adam if you remember I figure I'll switch it to No Lynch so the village detective can do some work.

Haha good call. I agree. We should give the detective a chance to do some work. Fortunately, doing a no lynch won't really harm the villagers this time - because we only have two special roles to worry about.

I will also vote for a No Lynch.

I just noticed though that the mafia broke the recent trend of killing previous mafia hosts first. I'm surprised Phaelyn didn't become a target.

This seems like a good way to try and distract us from the fact that he is working against us. Otherwise why post it instead of PMing the narrator?

Good point, everybody don't listen to Patrick, he's out to kill our detective by accident again

I'll stay away from voting for now, we have 24 hours, may as well use at least one or two to debate. I'm suspicious of Ben, he's quick to point at someone else, not to mention he was the last post before day one and the first post on day one. Somebody's looking suspicious already

I'm not saying I'm not suspicious of Ben right now, but I hate this line of thinking -- even more so than login times, which are at least somewhat indicative of what's going on, if used right. Who cares if he was online when the paper went out, and just before it was posted? It could be coincidence. Look at Trill's 'Who's the Boss' game -- some other people also got on me for being the first post. Who cares?

I'm not saying it's a reliable source of who's mafia and who isnt', that's just how I initially populate my suspect list. I then add and subtract people based on behavior throughout the game. I wouldn't vote for him just because of that

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. Can you please quote where I mentioned times when PMs went out? If you're referencing what I was saying to Dom, I was actually saying that it could have been pure coincidence that Aether started the day right after you posted, and that you were the first post when the day began.

I'm going for a no lynch right now. Trill's post seems to me to only raise a small level of suspicion (it could have been an honest question, indeed, I was going to ask it myself), and I think it's too soon to think about voting for Ben. We should wait and see how people behave later in the game before making any drastic, detective-killing decisions.

I want to wait for the second day. I've been reading each game since the first, and it seems all we ever do is lynch a villager (or detective) on the first day because they're eager to get people voting, thus bringing suspicion on themselves. I assume that's what happened in that game.
