The survivors had their first good day in a long time, and while many were sick and food was getting low they seemed to be getting by.

Then they had a good night as well. Not a single zombie happened by the mall the entire night. Many slept soundly.

I think we need to move somewhere where we can find medkits and rations.

Kim wore herself Searching Nearby after she felt better, maybe it was too soon. She spent the night fast a sleep in the corner. Morning arrives and she is feeling in full swing.

I agree, I think we should start making a move from the Mall now that we are more equipped with weapons and such.

Also, who took the Police Officers gun? I am a shooter, and it may come in handy for me.

Yeah, we're beginning to run out of any items we can find by searching nearby here, I think, and Derek's right -- while there's three lines of defense, we'll likely be trapped by anything higher than the first.

I'm not sure who took the gun -- I actually don't think anyone did. I'm giving Crow my pocket knife, while anyone who needs a weapon (fighter especially) is welcome to the police baton.

Wildmaven, fully rested and full of pep, wandered back to where the fallen zombies were piled. "There has to be something here we can use." She began to go through their pockets but stopped as she heard something fall. Pushing the top zombie aside, she noticed that no one had retrieved the service revolver. "Odd," she thought. She reached down and picked it up. "Kim! Take this," she said, holding out the gun with two fingers like it was something more disgusting than a zombie. She also gave Kim the bullets she had found. "There's a restaurant to the North. We need to get some more food," she said. "With a gun and bullets, we can get the locked door open."

Gives Kim the service revolver (9mm service pistol with 13 rounds(ammo) and a spare clip with another 13 (ammo)) and her own bullets (10 9mm Bullets). "Who has the holster? Give it to Kim, please."

Special Event

Whup! Whup! Whup! Whup! The low thump of a helicopter's blades could be heard flying high overhead the town.

This event ends at 9:45AM PST. Post what you try to do, and I will post what happens.

Wildmaven ran up the ladder to the roof, removed her bright pink and yellow robe and waved it over her head. She hoped the others would follow and protect her, should there be any lurking zombies, but the lure of a helicopter was much, too much, to resist flagging down.

Pepper was relaxing in the front seat of her car, finally feeling better after a sickness that had lasted far too long in her opinion. She was twirling the keyring she had around in her grasp, wondering what some of the keys on it might lead to, when a distant, faint noise could be heard among the usual sounds of the mall. Her head lifted up to look around as she recognized the noise, or thought she did. A helicopter! Other survivors? A way out of this place? She looked around to the other survivors, infected and uninfected, cautious to make the first move. Maybe they should go up to the roof and try to hail down the helicopter? Or would that be wise? "Do you think zombies can fly helicopters?"

She spotted Wildmaven already running off, and after a moment's hesitation she ran out of the car, slamming the door as she went, and followed, hoping that they had discovered other survivors and a way out. This almost seemed to good to be true... maybe it was.

Does anyone have a flare gun or anything? Adam, try to contact the helicopter on the radio! Adam! ADAM!

As for tonight, guys we need to move. Everyone who said 'search nearby' needs to change their action to Move to 14. We only have 7 rations, and we've got enough weapons to protect ourselves.

I'll change my action. I really have no idea what to do about the helicopter, I guess we could try to climb up as far as possible onto the roof and wave at it? I don't know, I actually don't trust it, seeing as EvilCo or whatever is the one who sent us here...

Northeast. I wonder if we'll be able to pick up whatever was dropped on our way up to location 14? It might be medicine or rations or something, which would be totally awesome for us infected ones right now.

Wildmaven, Pepper and Phaelyn rushed to the roof trying to flag down the chopper. Alex ran screaming through the mall looking for Adam and his radio. Adam was nowhere to be found.

As the three ladies watched the the all black chopper was already flying away from them. It was heading north-east. After it when up and over the hill at the center of town they almost lost sight of it but it stopped and held its position. It slowly began to rise in altitude and after a moment something dropped from the helicopter and out of sight. The helicopter then rotated slightly and speedily cut east until it was out of sight.
