Since Kim's going, I decided to definitely continue on with the plan. There's a level of risk, no doubt, but two shooters should be alright for a day or two. The auto shop is a fortress, so I imagine the group can survive without shooters.

I'd say Patrick and Ren are in a worse-off situation due to their stronghold's weak defenses.

Day 12 Recap

The group had inner turmoil. The reality of the situation was setting in. Some wanted to go while others wanted to stay. Those who wanted to go wanted to split up. And so the fellowship was broken and scattered to the wind.

Luckily not a single zombie was spotted the entire day. If it weren't for the damage to most of the buildings it was almost as if the zombies had never happened.

Stronghold – Restaurant 34 + 8 = 42/130
Rations - 13 + 6 = 19

Nick(5) - Rested
Patrick(5) - Found a bunch of wood +8 Defenses

Night 12 Recap

Nineteen zombies attacked the restaurant at midnight. The trio tried to hold out as long as they could but eventually they were overwhelmed. Ren and Pat had been defending the kitchen when they heard Nick scream. They both rushed into the dining room.

With all the tables and chairs stacked against the windows it was mostly a giant open arena. In the middle stood Nick blood flowing from a wound on his bicep. Six zombies lay dead at his feet, eight more closing in. Nick looked at the wound in his arm and then at the other two survivors.

"Get out of here!" He shouted "It's too late for me." He kicked a zombie in the chest knocking it backwards. The zombie stumbled and began advancing again.

"Tell Maven I'm sorry. She wasn't who I thought would get hurt" and he tossed the screwdriver he had loosened the grill's gas line with to Patrick. "I was trying to save the group. NOW GO!!!"

Like a tidal wave of rotting flesh the zombies rushed at Nick. He punched fighting til his last breath. Ren and Patrick took the time to climb to the roof of the restaurant. Inside the zombies destroyed everything searching for the living that they smelled. After a cold night the sun eventually rose for the two.

Twenty two zombies attacked the supermarket shattering the front windows. They could tell there were living inside. As they made their retreat the two marksmen fired off shots slowing the pursuing zombies. Eventually they made it into the managers office where they managed to barricade the door. In the morning they heard no more moaning and the supermarket was empty except for the bodies of the zombies they had killed.

Stronghold – Supermarket 21/70
Rations - Infinite (only can carry 10 per person away)

Derek(5) - (-1 Arrows) You recovered the rest you fired in the morning from the zombies. One arrow wandered off stuck in a zombie.
Kim(5) - (-7 bullets)

Nineteen zombies pounded and pounded at the autoshop walls but to no avail. The survivors inside felt safe for the first time in a long time with zombies so close. Pepper sat on the hood of her car watching as they pounded at the metal rolling garage door. "They'll never get us in here" she giggled.

Stronghold – Autoshop 106 + 3 = 86/200

*It was as "quiet" night for us. Listening to the zombies outside was concerning as usual, but it seems like this autoshop is pretty strong. Etc. watched Pepper a little concerned that the survival mode they've been in for this long was getting to her.

Not knowing about the attack at the restaurant, or the unlimited food at the supermarket, Etc. searches nearby the autoshop for a medkit*

An autoshop should have a medkit here somewhere *Etc. thought to herself*

Etc - Sorry but Crows infection was pretty bad. Occasionally people get hurt a little more.

Might as well, I saw she was only two down so I gave her two, but since we're the only ones hurt I see no harm in raising it to my highest.

Ooooooh, Pepper liked this place! Great defences! They were snug as a bug in a rug in here. Yep. It was pretty awesome. She perched herself up on the hood of her trusty steed- car, pulled her knees up to her chest, wrapped her arms around them, and looked around. They had the biggest group. Therefore the biggest defence of people for protection. This was good. But... her eyes narrowed at Phaelyn and Crow. They didn't look so good. Nope. Not at all. So maybe she should do something. Maybe she should go see if she could find something to help them. After all, she didn't want them to go all 'rawr!' and eat her, or damage her precious car, did she?

I want to search nearby once more (today) before I quarantine myself. If I make it through the day, I'll be leaving for the bed & breakfast tomorrow to ensure they never meet my zombie form
