Wildmaven watched Adam's actions while he was trying to get the sword from Pepper and a chill crept up her spine causing her to shudder. "Pepper," she hissed. She looked at Adam and smiled, then pulled pepper aside by the sleeve. "Be careful," she whispered. Axel sniffed at dirty area on Adam's knee. "Axel," Wildmaven called out. "Don't bother the man." She narrowed her eyes at Adam. The group decided to get in the car and take off together. "I'm sitting in back so I can hold Axel," she said. There was no way in hell she wanted Adam sitting behind her. True, most chefs were slightly "off", but still...
Wildmaven Skill is Cooking I will move to 28 and then scout West. Or follow the majority if the others think of something better. I will defend east My weapon is my Glock I still have my robe, vitamins, Glock with 36 9mm rounds, binoculars, and lighter

Day 24 RecapAfter climbing down from the water tower and dispatching if the straggling zombies. Everyone piled into the bus and drove to the gun shop. Today was a good day for the survivors. The store had been looted but not everything was gone. Group Items Found Sawed Off Shotgun (ranged weapon) .45 Colt Revolver (ranged weapon) .22 Bolt Action Rifle (ranged weapon) Crossbow (ranged weapon) ∞ 9mm Bullets (ammo) ∞ .22 Bullets (ammo) ∞ .45 Bullets (ammo) ∞ Shotgun Shells (ammo) ∞ Arrows (ammo) Since you have found infinite ammo we will no longer track it for your group.Stronghold – (26) Gun Shop 105/200 Rations - 33-4=29 Phaelyn(3) Infected - Moved to (26) Gun Shop 105/200 and Found Gun Shop Items for the Group Patrick(4) - Moved to (26) Gun Shop 105/200 and Found Gun Shop Items for the Group Ren(4) - Moved to (26) Gun Shop 105/200 and Found Gun Shop Items for the Group Derek(4) - Moved to (26) Gun Shop 105/200 and Found Gun Shop Items for the Group Everyone piled into Pepper's car and set out west. They arrived at the sturdy looking house before lunch time. Adam made a quick lunch while they checked the house for zombies. Everyone sat inside the dining room of the house and munched on rations. "So we're going to need to find a way out of town" Said Maven. "I think we should scout while there is still some daylight." So after lunch the group drove cautiously west along the river road. And then they saw it. The docks, and sitting at one of the docks was a small motor boat. Etc almost broke down crying. A way out. Adam walked over and hopped into the boat. He pulled on the rip cord for the motor. Nothing happened. He checked the fuel tank, there was gas inside. Then he followed the fuel line to the pump. It was broken. "Looks like we're going to need to find a fuel pump if we're going to get out of here." Pepper spoke up. "Lets just get in now and float down the river." "That's a bad idea" said Maven, lowering her binoculars. "The river flows east and maybe you haven't noticed but it's moving very fast. There are two bridges that we know of down river from us. We'd be smashed to pieces on their supports." "That's not our only problem" whispered Etc. calming down. "This boat can only hold three people." Everyone quietly got back in the car and returned to the sturdy looking house. Goal : Find a fuel pump, return to the boat, and repair the motor to escape. Night 24 RecapThey had found a bunch of weapons, but as night fell it became obvious they were going to need them. More than two dozen zombies clawed at the windows to the gun shop. They tore loose the wooden door leaving only the security gate. Their moans ringing out between gun shots. The four inside fighting bravely. How much ammo can we actually carry away? That wasn't dictated, as it was with the rations in the store. Surely by no longer tracking ammo you don't mean we've loaded up the bus and are taking an infinite supply with us? 0.o

Gun shop people, should we all scout east, or should two of us search nearby twice and the other two scout + search?

derek - I was going to limit ammo, but the number was so big that I doubt you could use it all. Then I had realized that you have a bus, soooo... you guys just have infinite ammo from now on until I say otherwise.

Phaelyn, Derek, and PatrickOkay so here's how I see it...We have two options for the rest of this game. 1. We find a way out of the town and escape like the other group is doing. 2. We move to a secure location with enough rations and ammo and stay there safely. We could do this until the game ends and it would just say that we survived in the town. (according to Ryan) I don't mind doing either, but just staying in one location for the rest of the game sounds a little boring. Unless the other group make it out of the town fast we could be stuck making the same moves for quite a few days. I really don't care which we do. Or if someone else has a better idea, then feel free to let us know.

I wouldn't say that I said it would mean you survived the town as much as suggested that in theory that if you had infinite food, infinite ammo and an infinite stronghold then you could last indefinitely. Of course you have a very sick person in your group and that could also affect things in the long term. How you win and what you do is up to you. Anything I have suggested may or may not be a way to "win/survive". I just like to throw out ideas, that doesn't meant they are game enders.

Okay well then I have no idea. We can keep aimlessly wandering around and let the game go on forever or we figure out a way to "win" it. Ideas?

Phaelyn: I don't think there's any more East to scout. I'm pretty sure that's the city wall directly East of us. It looks as if North and South are our only new options. As for the actions to take today, I really feel that resting might be a good idea, if we can spare the time. As a general rule, GMs don't just hand out big globs of useful items without a reason. Certainly not in survival horror situations. I can't help but feel that something big is coming, and being at the top of our game (health-wise) is for the best, especially while we still have relative situation in this throw-away stronghold. I'm also not sure searching nearby will be lucrative, unless we're desperate for a medkit (I suppose we are). Ryan Roos: So we really have unmetered ammo for the time being... I could kiss you. ren: I'm all for finding a way out. I've been pushing for that since the earlier days. Beyond scouting for a way out or getting to the harbor, I don't exactly know how to accomplish this, though. I really have my doubts that there's anything south that could help us escape. Short of a TV station with a helicopter snuggled into the South-East corner, I think North is probably our only option. Also, has anyone noticed the way the group has split? Those actually roleplaying in one group, and those (us) playing it more like a game. I noticed this the other day and thought it was a mildly-interesting observation.

Adam watched through mostly closed eyes as Etc. crept out of the room. He followed her a few seconds later.
Approaching her from behind, he stopped at the doorway to the room and heard her mutter "If I was a fuel pump where would I be?" He watched her stare out the window while leaning against the frame.
Resting against the door frame, Adam pondering the same question. A moment later, he had a thought and said loudly to Etc., "If I were a fuel pump-"
Etc. screamed and jumped out of her skin, spinning around with a violent swing of her police baton. Her heart was raced. She held out her weapon at her target as she breathed heavily. "Don't EVER sneak up on me like that AGAIN!!" she exclaimed.
Adam smiled and continued his thought, saying, "I would be in the surrounding dock area. Or in another boat."
