Night 23 Recap

In the middle of the night a horde of zombies gathered at the base of the water tower. All night they moaned and reached to the sky, towards the survivors. But to no avail. Ren and Derek were cold and the moaning prevented them from sleeping at all. When the sun rose a few zombies still remained looking for breakfast.

At the police station it was quiet. No zombies to test the new defenses. The survivors slept.

Everyone gets one guess where the bus is moving to tomorrow today. >.> Non-negotiable.

*Etc. was super excited to Wildmaven and Pepper and Axel. She tried to indicate to the new arrivals that Adam was weird without letting Adam see.*

Wildmaven was glad to see Etc and Adam. Adam was still acting all twitchy, moreso than before. "We need to tell you something," she said, beckoning them all closer. Together, she and Pepper described what they had seen (check your PM!). She glanced at Pepper and moved slightly away from Adam as they waited for the reactions from the other survivors.

[Pepper]

Pepper was so excited to see two other, familiar, and undead faces that she ran forward to both Adam and Etc. squealing all the way, and gave each a tight hug (which was quite a feat considering she had a huge, sharp chainsaw always attached to her), even attempting to lift them off of the ground with the embrace. "Hi!" was repeated often as she hugged them, afterwards taking a step back next to the familiar Wildmaven to share the news of what they'd discovered.

[Adam]

Adam listened to the news from Wildmaven and Pepper about the helicopter drop and just smiled, unfazed.

"So, ladies, what are we doing today?"

"Um... um... um..." Pepper looked around, eyes resting on her sacred car. "Maybe we should see how far West we can go? And smush any zombies we find along the way!" She ran to her car, pulling out the shotgun, "Anyone need a freaking awesome weapon?" she asked, "I've got tooooo many, so ya know, if you want one... just take it. Well, ask first, but... yeah. I got a shotgun, and Alex's sword. We found it, did I tell you? He hid it in my car or something... so yeah... take a weapon if you want! 'Cept not my chainsaw. If you take Chainy I will kill you." Her eyes were constantly darting around, like a sugar hyped up on too much caffeine.

Pepper
-is a super-awesome construction worker builder person
-will move to 28 (I can't remember if this is possible to skip a section with a vehicle or not...) and then scout West. Or follow the majority if the others think of something better.
-defends west
-has her chainsaw of doom at the ready
-also has her car, the keys, Alex's katana sword, the police radio, a flashlight, a super-awesome shotgun, and shotgun shells.

In the car you can drive 2 points assuming they are revealed (has a red line). 28 is revealed so go ahead. Also Axel will not occupy a seat in the car. So all 4 of you can fit.

After Pepper offered up her extra weapons, Adam approached her and locked eyes.

"I don't much like guns," Adam replied to Pepper, "but the Master Chef in me has been yearning for some sort of edged tool."

Adam reached out to take the katana, waiting for Pepper to hand it to him. He continued to stare at her. He cocked his head to the side and smiled.

"You can't imagine how badly I've missed cutting things." His smile doubled in size.

Pepper noticed that he never blinked the entire time, except for a small twitch. She couldn't be sure of it, but was unnerved at the thought that perhaps he had winked at her.

[Pepper]

Pepper stared at Adam. And stared. And stared. And stared some more. There was a long moment of silence. "Sure!" she exclaimed, giving Adam Alex's Sword.
