Really? That was part of my problem with those games. I didn't like the ugly new evolutions. I liked my Sneasel being only a Sneasel and not evolving into a Weavile.

Same. The new evolutions sucked. I liked my Aipom before they created Ambipom. ;-;

Well then you need to get your butt in gear, and go work for "Game Freak." I think the water well is running dry as far as imagination is concerned. ==

Yeah... I've already beaten Pokemon Black. Picked up a few Pokemon and kept them to the very end.

I feel emotionally attached to my Pokemon, so I never want to get new ones

I have POKeMON Black, just started about two or three days ago. It's been good so far. Even got a free POKeMON from some girl to help me fight against the first gym. I was surprised. The graphics are better, but it's just there are less POKeMON to catch in the beginning. I'm only so far past the first gym, currently training my team to a good level so I can beat one of the rivals.

He's got a whoooole bunch of sidequests to do so he isn't officially done. No way!

I got black on launch day, but I also finally picked up NFS Hot Pursuit. I was looking forward to both, but only Pokemon Black lived up to those standards. NFS wasn't even a very good game, it's a clear port from the console, and a very poor one at that, the display and control settings leave A LOT to be desired plus the gameplay is absolutely horrid without a controller

I started with Tepig, and I have to constantly check Serebii.net for pokedex entries on everything I meet, 'cause I have a very hard time figuring out which pokemon types everyone is My current team consists of Blitzle at lv 15, Pansage at lv 15, Pignite at lv 18, Munna at lv 15, Sawk at lv 15 (My favorite, it's very powerful , and Pidove at lv 15. Just entering Nacrene city, probably have to train a bit before challenging the gym. I've made a vow to actually train all 6 of my pokemon this time and not 2 as I always do. It makes it harder though

I do love the new battle animations, though sometimes the sprite move to much for my liking. One of them jumps up and down a lot and it annoys me . I also think the story is going to be interesting, Pokemon liberators...yeah that could turn ugly ;D

I had that problem too, then I changed my security key on my router from WPA to WEP, then it works. It's less secure but what do I care? Nobody here's gonna hack into my network, you can't even access it unless you are inside our house or in our backyard

Ahhhh. I'm really wondering if the games are really any good. Many people are telling me they are, but I'm still stuck with my little HGSS. I still am nostalgic for my Espeon/Umbreon duo. But with the reactions here, I'm considering getting Black...or White. I haven't really decided. Is it just the legendaries and a few random pokemon the main difference? Because if it's like that, I don't really mind to take my time to get both. However if it's something drastic I would want to know.

Side note: Yeah, the evolutions...just no. Main thing to why I don't have DPP. I have pretty much every other game.

One of the main differences about this game (And it's up to you whether this is good or bad) is that there are NO original pokemon in the wild until after you beat the elite four, so it feels all-new. There's no pikachu or Eevee, Aipom or Geodude, no Zubat or Magikarp, it's like an entirely different game.

I got the game on Monday, and just beat it early this afternoon.

I've played it for four days now
