Pokemon Black/White

Has anyone got it? Do you like it? What Pokemon did you start with?

I just got it today and so far it has been great. It seems to be a total revamp of the Pokemon series...so much is new. I started with a Tepig and it is now level 14.

I dunno, I wanna get it but at the same time I don't. It seems to be getting lame with all those fail new Pokemon. The original ones ftw. Actually I just looked up a list of the new ones and a few of them are alright.

I've always gotten the "second" version, such as Blue instead of Red, Silver instead of Gold, Pearl instead of Diamond. But I might break that tradition and get Black instead of White. I dunno. IF I ever buy it.

I got it on launch day, just like I've gotten every other main series Pokemon game (besides Red and Blue of course) on launch day.

I started with whatever the water thing is called, he's level 30 now. Just beat the 4th gym.

The new pokemon are different but it does change the game a bit i think it was getting old for me...

I'm still have yet to get Pokémon Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver versions let alone the new Black and White versions.

I have pokemon black. It is cool so far completely different to the other games. Not sure i like all the new pokemon they look strange even for pokemon but the story is good so far. And the extras with the wifi seems improved.

I've got black, got it two days ago. :3 Nightwalker, if you're worried about it being a repeat of the old games, I agree that it is a valid concern - I love them all, but they were a wee bit repetitive. This game, in all honesty, far exceeds my expectations. The gyms are challenging, for a change (I had to try three times at the first gym, as well as at least half a dozen at the second, which hasn't ever happened to me before [and i've played literally every pokemon game with the exception of the ranger series]), the pokemon are pretty interesting, the graphics are great (OH MY GOSH ARE THE GRAPHICS AMAZING @_@), and for the first time ever the plot gave me a shock. =X

Definitely a good buy, imo. I'm glad I scrapped a few older DS games I really liked in order to get it. :]

I haven't gotten it yet. I don't really have an interest in getting it, but it's been on my mind. I may get it eventually just to pass the time, but it'll have to be really good to convince me to keep playing it, really. I've honestly been burnt out playing every game since Red/Blue, and doing pretty much the same thing in every single game.

I got my copy on Sunday when it was released in North America, and the credits rolled last night, so now everything I do is extra exploration

I started with Tepig (Pokabu in Japanese) and to be honest I got my butt kicked repeatedly at the first gym in Striaton City. After that I found the game to be smooth sailing for the most part; I had to tweak my team's movesets for the E4, but that was just a minor setback.

I've heard it's really good. I want White badly, but I can't get it at the moment D: I was kind of depressed by the fact that it's been the first launch I've missed since Gold & Silver. :/

I'm actually kind of looking forward to having to learn new names of all the pokemon and stuff. Might feel a little bit more like the first time I played.

I bought White on launch day. interesting so far, but we will see. once I can import my other pokemon I'll be happy. so far though I've barely had time to play, so I'm only at the second gym town (I think).

I think it awesome and gotten Snivy. Just leveling up and trying to get a good pvp team up and ready down the road.
