Pokemon Black/White

also, for those who don't know whether to get White vs. Black:

White is more for those interested in filling the pokedex with info -- there are more opportunities to catch and see the pokemon, so it's more of a 'gotta catch 'em all' game. there's a little forest, even, where you can encounter many pokemon for this purpose.

Black is more for those interested in battling and care less about getting all the pokedex entries filled [remember, you only have to SEE the pokemon now for them to register in the 'dex, though further info isn't available til you catch]. there are more trainers; instead of the forest, like in white, you have a city full of trainers to battle -- more of a 'i wanna be the very best' game.

also, there are two different types of new battling systems/tactics. both games have both, but black has more of one, and white has more of the other. i can't recall off the top of my head which is which (or even what the new systems are), but i recall that there are 3 on 3 battles somewhere along the way. :] it might be both systems, just different tactics, but i've yet to encounter them in-game.

So far I have caught ten POKeMON, the electric unicorn being my last. I am still training my POKeMON, so far they are almost Level 15, and I also leave a couple in the Day Care. Some POKeMON take way too long to level up, though. I don't let any of them evolve until after they've learned their final moves. Which means I might not let any evolve until they are in the fifties.

I totally breezed through the second gym after catching a Sawk (which would've gone well with my HeartGold party that consisted of names ending in "awk" ). But since it hogged all the exp it's my strongest Pokémon.

I dislike how battling weaker Pokémon gets you less exp. If that's the case, then don't make every Pokémon in every field weaker than mine when I'm not even trying to grind. Stoopid Nintendo. It was already hard enough leveling for hours on end.

I had to level my Pokémon to level 75 before beating the Elite Four, and even then I was having trouble. I also wasn't a fan of they types that they use: Psychic, Dark, Ghost and Fighting aren't exactly my cup of tea

Did anyone else notice if the grass shakes you get a rare pokemon? I found that if you find a bunch of Audino to train against you get about 4x the experience as a normal pokemon on the route. My tepig went from level 16 to level 18 after beating just one Audino

It wasn't a BAD game, it was just my least favorite pokemon generation.
