Just a confirmation it does work in firfox but what you had was invalid CSS. <style type="text/css"> <!-- td {border: 4 outset; border-color: #CCCCCC;} --> </style> Replace that 4 with 4px and it works just fine. View my forum in FF if you dont believe me. CREDITS TO XFOX PROWER FROM THE TAILS ARCHIVE FOR VALID CSS!

In order to use the border shorthand you really need to specify all three amalgated properties, so that isn't technically valid either. <style type="text/css"> <!--
td { border: 4px #cccccc outset; }
--> </style> would do it. More Info

Well he (or someone) really needs to make a new FAQ. It's not just the codes that are outdated.

Well IMO even though adding the 'px' does cause it to work in FireFox, it still doesn't look particularly good because FireFox doesn't really do the outset effect correctly, or it just doesn't look as attractive as in IE. So maybe it's better that it doesn't work in FF.
