Hi, I run pokemonanddigimonrp.proboards.com/index.cgi, its a roleplay sites for Pokemon and Digimon, and when we plat our characters we use icons. Though instead of copying and pasting all the same links over and over again, we use the censored words to help make things quicker.
EXP:
When we write down pikachu@, we'd get , right?

But after awhile... at a certain point, all the links have suddenly cut off. Whenever we write something for the censored words, it get cut off like: i4.photob

So is there a limit for the censored words or another reason why this might be happening?

Yes, there is a limit. I believe there is a certain character limit, not amount. But yes, you're at your max then.

I don't think that's it, because sometimes when the censored word won't work for me, I erase one of the earlier codes we might not need anymore and then everything is fine for the time
But of course more characters and mons are coming, so we can't keep deleting all the old codes

Well, that's the problem. You deleted some old codes to put in the new one, so that's counteracting the character limit.

I'm guessing there's no way to extend that limit, is there?

Unfortunately, no, there isn't. However. There are alternate extra smilies codes you can use, for example:
