Just going over my headers and footers in an attempt to speed the loading of my forum. I'm not getting any page errors, but frequently items supposed to be removed by codes (the usual ones) flash on before everything is fully loaded, and I don't like it.
So as a general rule ... is there a basic form we should use re: where specific codes should be in a header or footer? Certain at the top or the bottom, or doesn't matter?
Things like styles ... always headers or footers, main or global? I'm trying to put all my styles together, thinking that's better than having a few separate <style></style> codes one after the other.
Codes in general ... should ones that do specific things be in any particular order?
I think it would be good if a very experienced member or staff member did an FAQ on a topic like this.

It doesnt really matter where they go in you headers and or footers the only time you should worry about the order their in is when you have a code conflicting with another or if you have a cade specificaly telling you to other than that it doesnt matter as for ordering codes it may be a good i dea to put similah codes together and put a little tag above it saying Frequent codes or something. eg <!-- Frequent codes //-->(it must be inside that tag otherwise it will appear on the board which is something you dont want... other than that this is really a coding support question and the people in coding support will give you more info.

I know for sure that some codes require a certain precendence in the headers/footers. I don't recall which though.
