My mods can't see the mod functions anymore. I've been trying to fix it, but nothing has worked. I made a new account and made myself a mod and saw that there is nothing there, but the standard. What is wrong?

Go into your admin panel and click on "Member Groups", its over the right hand side. Once in there, there will be a group named Moderator or whatever you call your moderator group. Click that and make sure that this group is classed as staff, then proceed and ensure that they have moderator powers. Chance are there arn't any powers for this member group. Hope this helps

I sent the URL to Matt.
The problem is that they can only have powers when I put them with unlimited powers. Although I can limited it, it says that they are admins, I don't want that. I want them to be regular mods, but if I put limited powers where is says "yes or no' they won't have any functions at all. Hope you understand this.

To set that, edit the board that you want them to moderate in, then add their USERNAME to the list of moderators.

I have this code in, maybe that could be the problem? <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- /* advanced mod drop down boxes by ross support.proboards.com */ var td=document.getElementsByTagName("td"); for(e=0; e<td.length; e++) { if(td[e].width=="100%" && (td[e].colSpan=="2" || td[e].colSpan=="8") && td[e].getElementsByTagName('img')[0].alt.match(/Admin Functions/)) { var a = td[e].getElementsByTagName("a"); if(location.href.match(/board=/) && td[e].colSpan=="8") { var advMod='<select onchange="if(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value) document.ammForm.nextaction.value=this.options[this.selectedIndex].value; document.ammForm.submit(); return true;"><option value="">Admin Functions</option><option value="">----------</option>'; for(r=0;r<a.length;r++) { for(j=0;j<a[r].attributes.length;j++) { if(a[r].attributes.item(j).nodeName.match(/onclick/i)) { var val = a[r].attributes.item(j).nodeValue.split('\';doc')[0].split('lue=\'')[1]; var nam = (a[r].firstChild.alt.match(/\[(.+?)\]/))? RegExp.$1 : a[r].firstChild.alt; advMod +='<option value="'+val+'">'+nam+'</option>'; break; } } } } else { var advMod='<select onChange="if(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value) window.location=this.options[this.selectedIndex].value;"><option value="">Admin Functions</option><option value="">----------</option>' for(r=0;r<a.length;r++) { var val = a[r].href; var nam = (a[r].firstChild.alt.match(/\[(.+?)\]/))? RegExp.$1 : a[r].firstChild.alt; advMod+='<option value="'+val+'">'+nam+'</option>'; } } advMod+='</select>' td[e].innerHTML=advMod; } } //--> </script>

Hi,
Just make them all unlimited and then just give them the normal mod powers.
That will fix your problems.
Thanks, Matt F.

Hi, Just make them all unlimited and then just give them the normal mod powers. That will fix your problems. Thanks, Matt F. I don't like that. They are all labeled as "Admin' they can even go into the admin panel although it's limited. A global shouldn't have that.

Global mod's will see the admin panel but won't see to much depending on the powers you give them.
