any ideas on how to limit access to threads

I want to create a board on my forum where each member gets a thread that they can use a their own blog and only they can post comments.

In other words, I'd like to prevent other members from replying.

Is there an easy way to do this? I thought about putting each member into a group but I don't think there's any options to limit who replies to threads so that wouldn't work I don't think.

I guess 2.40am isn't the best time to think of these things lol.

what may be a good idea is in the board that you made for them is to make it so that registered members can make threads but only staff can reply to them.

that i think is the only way of doing it.

There's no way of doing that. I suggest you use the sub-boards feature for each member to have his/her own board/blog.
